Accommodation, Billing & Discharge

A patient-ready guide to room options, deposits, payments, transfers, billing rules, and discharge settlement.

Choose room class: general ward, special room AC or non-AC, deluxe room, or semi-special room.

Pay bed, treatment, and advance surgery charges as per the hospital tariff structure.

Check daily interim bills; if the bill exceeds the deposit, pay the balance and additional deposit.

For routine discharges (before 6:00 PM), return all earlier deposit bills and payment receipts, and vacate the bed within one hour.

Bed and operation theatre availability

Booking of bed and operation theatre is subject to availability or emergency priority.

Payment modes

Payments are accepted by cash, credit card, and QR. Emergency billing support is available on the ground-floor billing counter from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Billing section

Charges for Indoor Patients

  • Bed charges are payable as per the tariff structure.
  • Treatment charges vary according to the class of occupancy.
  • In case of Surgery, the surgery charges are to be paid in advance besides Admission Deposit.
  • Booking of Bed and Operation Theatre are subject to availability or as per emergency.
  • Interim bill amount will be provided daily to patient’s relative.

Billing section

Mode of Payment

  • Payments are accepted in cash/credit card/QR.
  • Once the bill has exceeded the deposit amount, you must make the payment of another deposit plus the balance amount if any (as per the class of admissions).
  • Payments can be made on the GR.FLR billing counter IN CASE OF EMGERNCY from 8:00 PM TO 8:00 AM.

Transfer of the Patient

  • At the time of transfer from the ICU to the ward, the patient needs to clear the whole bill before the transfer and needs to pay the deposit for the ward he is being transferred.
  • If required, patient can be transferred to any ward or internally in the same ward also.
  • From Lower Class to Higher Class:
  • - Bed charges will be as per tariff from the date of change of class.
  • - Treatment charges including surgical charges, if any, will be as per higher class.
  • From Higher Class to Lower Class:
  • - Bed charges will be as per tariff from the date of change of class.
  • - Treatment charges will also be from the date of change of class. But in case of surgery, if the patient is taken for surgery from higher class and wants to shift to lower class after the surgery, then he will be charged for higher class. After the surgery and transfer to the lower-class adjustment, all charges will be of the higher class from the date of change.

Discharge

  • Routine discharges will be till 6PM.
  • Please note that at the time of discharge, you need to return all deposit bills and payment receipts issued to you earlier from the billing counter. Only then final bill would be issued.
  • Once the physical discharge is given, the patient is expected to vacant the bed within an hour.
  • HOSPITAL BILLING ONE DAY IS LEVIED FROM 12:00 NOON TO 12:00 MIDNIGHT.
